Land and Body Workshop for BIPOC
Land and Body Workshop for BIPOC
An IN PERSON workshop for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color)
Care for the Body and Care for the Land
We BIPOC possess a rich wisdom that lives in our flesh and bones, and our DNA. This workshop invites us to tell our stories in movement, and look at our relationship to land, as a practice of intentionally allowing ourselves to trust what our bodies have always known.
Learn together embodied practices that plant the seeds of what we want to grow: health, grounding, rest, and joy so we can more frequently show up as our fullest selves.
Explore how to embody and align the cycles of the land and its elements with the cycles of the body. Imagine them in service of each other instead of being in service to capitalism.
This daylong offers a space to cultivate a culture of care that supports the health and healing of people, communities, plants, and animals which are critical for our survival and thriving.
Let’s say yes to an opportunity to be in healing practice for personal and collective liberation, considering that just like the root systems of trees are interconnected, so are we.
Open to all movers that identify as Black, Indigenous & People of Color (BIPOC). No experience necessary. Bring your open heart to invite in a new vibrant energy of healing, connection and joy.
Please note that payments go through our fiscal sponsor, Commonweal, so your statement will reflect this.
