Want to offer your skills in service to racial equity and healing justice?

Join Movement Liberation’s team! 

We are seeking volunteers for these roles:

• Grant writers: Search, write, and apply for grants that align with Movement Liberation’s values and will likely provide our organization with funding for our operations - often using language about Movement Liberation that has already been developed from previous grant applications. (skills: researching, writing, nonprofits, racial justice)

• Social media content creator: Research and promote content related to racial justice, healing justice, healing movement/dance, and BIPOC healing AND/OR create graphic designs using this sourced content; maintain social media relationships with aligned organizations and partners. (skills: social media, research, designing graphics, Canva, collaboration, racial justice)

• Partnerships builder: Research and track relationships with other art / movement / healing / justice-related individuals, organizations, and media outlets. (skills: research, basic spreadsheets, project management/tracking people and timelines, friendly/professional correspondence) 

• Reparations advocate: Research funders and funding groups dedicated to racial justice and reparations; research the case for reparations and prepare fact sheets, resource lists and FAQs for funders. (skills: research, writing, basic graphics, interest in/knowledge about reparations)

• Project organizer: Organize grant-writing tasks and timelines and provide overall volunteer team organizing support. (skills: project management/tracking and coordinating people and timelines, knowledge of [free] project management software, friendly/professional correspondence)
