Sliding Scale
Programming
The sliding scale programming fund directly supports BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) to participate in workshops and retreats facilitated by Valerie Chafograck and other educators of color. This fund provides a rare opportunity for people of color to find financially accessible movement healing spaces. During this time of immense social and environmental upheaval, it is vital that embodiment education be accessible to ALL communities of color, especially those most impacted by systemic oppression.
We offer several donation options to choose from for all of our workshops, including attending free of charge. For participants who are economically secure, we respectfully ask you to donate at the level you are able to join us, and support our teachers who have dedicated their lives to cultivating the skills and presence required for this work. Offer what makes you feel generous, rather than contracted, so as to support those who are experiencing financial hardship at this time. Thanks to Reverend Angel Kyodo Williams for this economic model.
